Cosmic Problem: what to expect from a training scenario?
Cosmic Problem is one of our Blue vs. Red scenarios. It starts when the training systems fall under attack by the red team in real time.
Multiple hacking techniques are used by the malicious party with one goal in mind: to disrupt the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your systems, services, and data.
Your mission is to analyse the traffic captured during the cyberattack, analyse the logs, and answer 3 main questions:
How did the attacker gain access to the network?
What did they do once they gained access?
What channel did they use to extract data from internal networks?
The training scenario allows you to learn how to recognise most of the top 10 OWASP attacks on servers and web applications.
